Head Of The Fish Regatta 2024. Due to flooding on the des moines river since early may, and subsequent damage to our river dock, the head of the des moines committee has chosen to move. Held on the last weekend of october, head of the fish is one of the largest regattas in the country.

The two day regatta features junior, collegiate, open and masters events. Come join us at mooney’s bay beach and race on the rideau river from black rapids to mooney’s bay.
